About Silky Smooth Steppers, Inc.
SSS Inc., was formed in January 2007. It is a group of steppers who have teamed up to do what they all love and that is: share their love of the dance with those who have the desire to learn how to do it. To each of them, Steppin is an art, a form of dance that is smooth and very relaxing. They are each devoted to their students and making sure they are learning and having a good time in the process. The classroom atmosphere is very blissful & uplifting! The environment is very comfortable & unlike the typical gym room or smokey lounge setting. Everyone is welcomed and made to feel right at home. The Studio offers different areas of instruction For ALL 3 LEVELS (Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced). This allows the students at each level to receive their particular instruction without interruption. This also allows the students to receive one on one instruction when needed. The students are encouraged to PRACTICE at home and to be PATIENT while trying to master each move. All students are taught at their own individual pace. NO PRESSURE! NO CRITICISM! NO STRESS! NO FRUSTRATION!
Afterall, learning to step should be FUN! We often communicate to our beginners that NOBODY is born a stepper. Every great stepper was once a beginner. We want our students to leave our class looking forward to coming back, and if they don't return, they can say that their experience was a pleasant one.
We have class every Sunday (except when it's a holiday) from 5pm - 7pm at The Big Swing Dance Studio located 1012 W. Randolph.

Our students earn FREE classes for attendance and for winning our web site contest. Visit "The Student Lounge" to play. Our class outings, which are approx once a month, give our students a chance to practice their skills with other steppers. The outings are fun & exciting especially when we all wear our class t-shirts or theme colors.
We have an Annual Graduation & Appreciation Picnic for our students which gives their family & friends an opportunity to see them in action! Visit the "Photo Gallery" for a sneak peek!
